Praises and new goals in the holiday season greetings from the President and Direttivo of Enoteca Regionale della Liguria

 

Dear all,
this is a very positive moment in history for the ligurian wine-making industry. These are wines which attract, fascinate and make the audience curious, satisfying the consumer’s all needs.
Wines which come from even more enlightened wine-makers, able to comprehend and represent the strength of an unique territory, employing ancient grape varieties, very closely guarded over the years, which express their best here.
In the back, caught between the sea and the mountains which inspires emotions, amazement and surprises, standing out against the sky, there’s a polyhedral and variegated land rich of thousands of historical and cultural facets. Landscapes which fill the eyes with so much beauty, taking your breath away.

Our wines feed on this, taking on a strong and coy character, never over the top or ordinary, they absorb energy from the sun, the wind, the sea and the stones, these wines breath in the Mediterranean essence and turn themselves into beauty. They are wines which tell stories, wines which need to be spoken about.
Within this magnificent surroundings, Enoteca Regionale della Liguria has the aim to bring the whole world to know about the character of our wines, using them as a tool in the discovery of men, territories and traditions. Standing next to all the wine-makers, trying to give voice to their needs, sharing with them strategies and projects.
The idea is to enclose and bring out the sense of belonging and the love that women and men express through their work, under a unified ligurian flag.

Share and participate must be the key words, therefore into the Consiglio Direttivo has been developed a close-knit team, able to engage with the wine-producers, which are our true asset, making their needs our own and pursuing them, involving institutions and professional associations. All the players in this wonderful world shall feel included in a project which aim is to make our territories more visible and alive, valuing them under a common banner. We are going to use our energies and every resource possible, through the most effective and up-to-date media, to reach professional profiles in the field such as journalists, bloggers and commercial players. We will raise awareness in the catering industry and in the food and beverage distribution sector in general so that Liguria can become the top supplier.

We will be creating a network of professionals able to develop the quality and exposure of our showcase points, extraordinary tools in support of the tourism industry, which cannot disregard from wine and gastronomy fields. We want to set an overall view able to put Liguria in a leading position. The agricultural products, olive oil, basil and consequently pesto sauce, along with wine will become the flagship symbols of a boundless ‘Liguritudine’ (ligurian attitude). To do this, we will need everyone’s help, each and every role is important to transform our ‘small’ and peculiar farming activities into a disruptive force, representing, in fact, a thousand of facets of a single territory with an added value.

Sipping a wine glass represents all of these aspects and we think that there couldn’t be a better hope, being in the Christmas festive season, than to wish everyone to rediscover the fearless ligurian spirit in each opened bottle, and to our beloved farmers to continue along this path, confident in our unconditional support.
This is our hope and our commitment. Wishing everyone 2019 will be filled with satisfactions!
